Watchmen

Watchmen is one of the greatest comic books ever.

When it was published, it changed the entire comic book industry. Like "V for Vendetta", (which was also adapted into a film) it's set in 1985, but a world with an "alternate history".

In the last few years, there have been so many failed starts, abandoned attempts and rejected scripts that I thought this film would never happen. But this summer, Zack Snyder, who directed "300", will begin production on a film set to be released in 2008. WOO-HOO!

I am SO keeping my finger crossed.

A single frame of a Rorschach test-shot was included in the R-rated "300" trailer.

Funny how one single image can pump you up.
