The Dukes of Hazzard

The Dukes of Hazzard is one of those shows that you grew up watching and although you don't know why, you will always love to watch.

Now I saw the TV series, the movie, and the new made-for-tv movie. It's just an awesome story, and it's based on the movie "Moonrunners"

Basically, two country cousins (Bo and Luke), go to live on their uncle's (Jesse) farm, along with another (hot) female cousin (Daisy). While they may bend the law, they know right from wrong. That "wrong" being a morally-corrupt city official (Boss Hogg) and his "arm of the law" toadie (Roscoe) and the dim-witted deputy (Enos). Now throw in one badd ass, orange, ravine-jumping car, and you have one hell of a show.

The General Lee is one bad-ass car. It's right up there with KITT, the A-Team van and the Batmobile. And you know it's badass because only a true badass car would be so accepted while brandishing the rebel flag and not be considered racist in any way.

NOTE: While Denver Pyle played Uncle Jesse on the TV series, Willie Nelson plays the part in the movie as well as the made-for-tv movie. So in the Dukes of Hazzard timeline, Willie Nelson plays the first and last "Uncle Jesse".

NOTE 2: in the TV series, Boss Hogg is a short, fat man played by Sorrell Booke, and Burt Reynolds in the movie and by Chris McDonald in the made-for-tv movie. So he went from tall and chubby, to short and fat, to tall and slender.

NOTE 3: No matter when, where or how... Daisy Duke is ALWAYS hot!
